I remember being a kid and lying in (what seemed to be at the time) a huge bubblebath, submerging my head to my ears with only my face visible.
I loved the warmth enveloping my head, and the silence. It was peaceful, it was like being in another world.
Oh, if only life could be shut out in much the same way as we grow older. What bliss it would be to submerge ourselves in the warm water and bubbles, and forget all our problems, all our worries.
I miss those days, those days of innocent naivety and such wonder at the world. I’m just glad that we all get to experience it for a few years, even if it’s only as children.
