Ssshhhhh. He’s asleep.
He’s finally drifted into a world of dreams, where Lightning McQueen and Mater are real and dinosaurs roam the earth.
Sleeping peacefully, breathing heavily. His two Bobby Bears on opposite ears, making him feel safe and secure.
Nothing can wake him, not even the bright light from my iPad SoftBox or the quick clicks of my camera. He is fast asleep.
He will come and climb into my bed during the night, looking for someone to keep him company, but for now he sleeps soundly in his own bed.
Sleep my little man. Joust with knights, run with the dinosaurs, race with Lightning, and sail with Jake on the high seas.
And in the morning when you wake, I will be here.
I love you to the sun and back, plus to infinity and beyond. Good night, sleep tight, don’t let the bedbugs bite. See you in the morning. I love you so much. I love you super super much. I’m really really proud of you. (recited to all 4 of my children every single night)
